| Answer To Question 1: Yes limited acupuncture service provided by occupational therapist (OT) within the specialist palliative care setting. OT is fully trained and a member of the British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS). Currently we cannot provide policy Evidence around cancer patients in palliative care setting and include but not limited to the following research articles: 'Acupuncture as palliative therapy for physical symptoms and quality of life for advanced cancer patients (2010). IS response - we are unable to retrieve data for historical years from the (now retired) Palliative Care system in order to respond to the earlier parts of this question. | Answer To Question 3: No contract with external company The Trust would not supply a copy of a contract between an individual and the Trust. No 鈥� acupuncture is an additional role of an NHS employed Occupational therapist. | |
