Symptoms and Diagnosis for CUP

The symptomsÌýofÌýaÌýcancerÌýofÌýunknownÌýprimaryÌýare variable and depend on which organs theÌýcancerÌýhas spread to. For example, if theÌýcancerÌýhas spread to the bonesÌýofÌýthe spine, there may be a new pain felt in the back that isÌýoften worse at night or numbness, weakness or pins and needles sensations in the legs, to give a few examples. If theÌýcancerÌýhas ÌýSometimes CUP does not cause any signs or symptoms.

General non-specific symptoms of cancer are:Ìý

  • Unexplained weight lossÌý
  • Loss of appetiteÌýÌý
  • FatigueÌý
  • Persistent coughÌýÌý
  • Swollen lymph nodesÌý
  • Fever or drenching night sweatsÌý
